Junior Harvest Festival

The sun came out in celebration of harvest and the Junior School pupils made a tremendous effort to dress up as farmers for the occasion and sing to everyone within Chapel.

The Chapel was lined with lots of donations of food - generously given and thankfully received - which will be going to the Whitechapel Mission to help the homeless. Songs were sung by all pupils, from Early Years upwards, and many of them included lots of fun actions for everyone to join in with.

Revd Dr Jackie Quarmby gave a very thoughtful sermon, using some of her vegetable friends (Percy Potato, Charlie Corn and Crisp P. Cabbage) to communicate the message of caring and looking after one another, and making sure we keep our eyes, ears and hearts open.
